Who I am and how I work.
I started doing this job because, as a musician, every time I went into a recording studio, I never left satisfied. Respecting the artist's vision is fundamental to me. I don't just aim to give you a professional sound, but also an identity.
My name is Filippo, also known as Trappolone.
I have been working in music production, mixing and mastering in my studio for over ten years.
The services I offer range from Production/Recording here in the Studio to Online Mixing and Mastering, in case you want to improve the songs you've produced at home.
My Studio offers the best of the Analog and Digital Worlds.
Everything I work on goes through high-end converters (Apogee Symphony and Burl B2), my machines and my Neve 8816 Analog Summing Mixer.
My control room enjoys what many consider to be the best listening system in the world: the ATC SCM25A PRO driven by a Crane Song Avocet.
I love working with emerging artists and bands, mostly indie, but in recent years I have also worked a bit with bigger labels (Sony, Universal, Carosello, Bomba, Woodworm, etc).
